Business Intelligence Architect / Lead
The BI Architect/Lead will help define the technical strategy and tactical plan for implementing data and information delivery solutions. The position will interact with multiple functional groups to understand business needs, architect technical solutions, make recommendations that return business value, and serve as the technical leader in data and BI technologies.
The BI Architect/Lead provides technical leadership for data and system architecture, and is experienced in creating custom software applications. This position requires an expert with a proven track record of architecting and developing large scale data warehouse and operational system data bases. Incumbent will lead initiatives with teams consisting technical and business representatives to deliver BI solutions.
The BI Architect is responsible for leading the design, development, testing, debugging, file design and storage of enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions. This position works closely with business users to understand key performance metrics and analytics in delivering effective solutions. Incumbent is responsible for developing standards, policies and procedures. Researches new technology and develops business cases to support the business intelligence goals and objectives.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: •B.S. degree in Computer Science, Business or related field / or equivalent experience as a Business Objects architect (5+ years) •Experience with BOE components (Webi, Xcelsius, Crystal Reports,Data Federator, Explorer, Data Services, BI Mobility, etc.) •Experience with BExQuery Designer •Ability to partner and build relationships with Senior Management, and communicate to multiple audiences. •Excellent oral and written communication skills are required •Demonstrated strong leadership and relationship building skills is required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: •Cross-functional knowledge in the following areas Finance, BCS, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, Fixed Assets, Investment Management, Project Systems, Human Resources, Learning Management, eSourcing, and Payroll. •Experience in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling •Specialization in data warehouse, data delivery, master data, or ERP tools across hybrid operational environments. •Knowledge of SAP BOE 3.1 and 4.0 and SAP BI 7.0 in Modeling, System Administration, Table Storage Maintenance, Security, Configuration, and Business Content delivery. •5+ years of hands on experience with ETL tools, data staging techniques, metadata tools, and data base designs

Our client in Roanoke, VA is looking for an PeopleSoft Systems Architect . This is a contract position, however the duration has not been set yet. This is for a Sr Consultant who can oversee the architecture of a project solution. Candidates should know PeopleSoft framework, understand various technologies (application server, web server, messaging etc) and be able to consolidate a view for the entire team. Sr Enterprise Architect/Insurance or Healthcare – (CA)
Senior Enterprise Architect
Client in California needs a Senior Enterprise Architect with experience in the Healthcare or Insurance Industry with solid experience in Broker Commissions on the Business and Process side. Knowledge of different tools that can help manage commissions is good, but not any one specific tool. They have multiple business units and some are using Callidus (highly customized), and others are using a custom developed Microsoft-based solution. The client is also a big SAP shop, but is not using Vistex (which could potentially be a possible future solution). This position does not have to be hands on or configure tools. Client needs domeone to come in and provide an assessment, understand needs, issues, requirements, and recommend a solution, which could be technology OR process focused, depending on the findings. Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary. This role will interact will all levels of management from C-level to Managers.
