QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s in Business Administration preferred
Years of related experience: 10 yrs related experience and various business functions in consumer products and/or retail industries
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Advanced understanding, experience and expertise within the specific business industry being supported, such as consumer packaged goods, retail, manufacturing, logistics or finance. The role of the SAP Record to Report Process Lead is to provide and implement solution design throughout all phases of the process and application lifecycle. Successfully deliver business solutions in complex domestic and international environments, from business processes and data requirements definition, system design, go-lives’, and project management.

This person must come from a background where they have overseen a matrix organization of subject matter experts, not solely performed production support. · Provide subject matter expertise to projects with regards to financial business processes. This expertise should be from a process perspective, and will cross multiple technologies.

Qualifications:

· Experience in implementing at least 3 large-scale or complex IT projects, preferably in a lead role.

· At least 5+ years of ERP financial applications experience including SAP Releases ECC6.0


· Functioned as lead application architect/consultant for financial applications for Fortune 500 companies

· Ability to develop clear and detailed business requirements and design specifications that can be understood by other consultants, including global partners.

· Ability to translate business requirements into design options that are cost effective, efficient, re-usable that comply with defined architectural principles and standards and that enhance the business process.

  • Act as strategic liaison between business community and IT for all BI project deliverables. Provide subject matter expertise, thought leadership on data warehousing concepts, trends, and best practices. Work closely with the business community in the creation and maintenance of a high-level enterprise-wide entity relationship diagram and the translation of the diagram characteristics into a business data dictionary. Proactively seek feedback from the business on information needs, issues, and requirements.
  • Work closely with the Architecture and Application Delivery groups in the creation and maintenance of a consolidated enterprise-wide detailed logical model and the translation of the model characteristics and details into the metadata dictionary.
  • Is responsible for annual department budget/forecast review and submission process, and cost control management to ensure budget goals are met.

Requirements

  • Bachelors in Computer Science or Management Information Systems
  • 10+ years of industry or consulting IT experience.
  • 5+ years experience managing Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence environments, including experience with database design, data modeler, administration and optimization.
  • Background in large data warehouse environments, including Extract, Transform & Load (ETL) and parallel, mixed-mode processing in the data warehouse
  • Experience with data governance and processes
  • Deep background in metadata management and metadata management tools, multi-tier reporting systems design and support practices, including architecture, engineering, configuration, tuning, and capacity planning
  • Experience in developing data conversions, interfaces, complex reports/extracts, and workflow
