SAP Basis/NetWeaver Lead

Great opportunity to join rapidly growing international consultancy.  SAP Basis/NetWeaver Lead needed for implementation, migration and upgrade of SAP IT solutions and client delivery, installation, troubleshooting and support of new products.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Extensive knowledge of SAP system landscape (ERP, SRM, SCM, XI/PI, BPC, SAP Portal, MII, BW/BI, Aris, MDM, Business Objects) based on various platforms including HP-UX/Linux/Windows and Oracle.
• Monitoring with tools like SAP Solution Manager, CCMS.
• Installing, upgrading and maintaining SAP products and Oracle Databases.
• Must be flexible with working hours to accommodate being a contributing member of various global project teams.
• Communicate with the business and act as a contact person for functional changes.
• Approve functional change requests and consider possible global impacts. Ensure that functional changes are also approved by the business and IT SMEs.
• Act as escalation contact for regional support issues.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Information technology degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Basis consultant.
• Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in the technology industry.
• SAP Certified Technology Consultant.
• Excellent knowledge in SAP Netweaver technologies (ABAP, Java).
• SAP Basis knowledge in the applications Solution Manager, Exchange Infrastructure, Portal, BOBJ, Aris, some XI/PI and EDI exposure, SIAM exposure a plus.
• Working Knowledge of:

System administration of SAP Netweaver (ABAP+ Java);

System administration of Oracle Database;

System administration of UNIX and Linux (HP-UX cluster, SuSE);

Identity / Security management in a SAP environment;

5-8 years professional work experience in technology industry.

Leadership & Communication:

• Interact with other IT employees in providing solutions to SAP end users.
• Provide input into process improvement solutions and drive implementation.
• Effectively leverage technical resources and tools.
• Exhibits strong time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, strong interpersonal and relationship management skills with excellent conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Demonstrated leadership qualities; experience in managing at least 3 members in a project team and experience in handling Vendor teams.
• Ability to travel 50%.

SAP NetWeaver Basis Lead

SAP NW Basis Consultant/Lead

Excellent opportunity to join rapidly growing international consulting firm.  Successful candidates for this role will possess successful and increasing responsibility in delivering  SAP IT  solutions.  Candidates will have a proven track record of participating in and leading successful technical implementations, upgrades, and migrations to NetWeaver.

The SAP NW  Basis Consultant/Lead will assist in installations of SAP BPC and other SAP EPM tools including Business Objects products.  The person should have advanced troubleshooting of platforms, performance optimization, connectivity, security audits, and similar technical services.  As an experienced Technical Consultant this role will ensure accurate and on-time implementation of the project deliverables, and assist the Solutions Architect with project planning including iteration of the tasks involved in delivery, identification of key resources, timelines and milestones.

Qualified candidates will possess the following skills:

• A minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in SAP Basis Consulting, Administration and operational control for Support and Maintenance and Implementation Projects.

• Strong technical skills in SAP Installations, Upgrades, System copy, SAP performance tuning, Authorization setup, TMS admin, Language support, Applying Patches, Backup and Restore, etc.

• Basis consulting experience in managing Enterprise Portals, J2EE administration, and or SAP BIW with BW administration workbench, authorization and tuning

• Experienced working in UNIX, Windows environment, and with Oracle database

• Detailed knowledge of SAP support for Security audits and certifications

• Knowledge of technical infrastructure, networking and system operations

• Knowledge of hardware capacity planning and high availability solutions

• Knowledge of project documentation

• Minimum experience completing 2 full life-cycle implementations and upgrade projects is preferred.

• SAP Basis Certified preferred

• Independent with high initiatives

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Direct Experience with Install/Upgrade SAP NetWeaver  7.0

• BW specific technical knowledge including Info Cubes, Architecture, Metadata Modeling, DTP components and Fundamentals.

• Experience with the EPM suite of SAP products including BPC, SSM, SPM, SCPM

• Install and configure Solution Manager
